 RIF Policy

At the February 2, 2009 School Board meeting, the Board approved an amended Reduction In Force (RIF) policy. The Board amended this policy in response to the recent announcement of the Governor's Proposed Budget in late December 2008 calling for drastic reductions in funding for public education. School divisions across the Commonwealth have all moved to review and update their existing RIF policies in response to the current economic climate.
