2026-2027 Back-to-School Transportation Information

Parents and guardians should review their child's bus stop information in the PowerSchool Parent Portal by clicking the bus icon. Please note: Student bus information is not viewable through the PowerSchool mobile app.
Students are routed using the home address that is listed in PowerSchool. The Transportation Request Form ONLY needs to be completed if you are making changes to your student's transportation (e.g. you have enrolled a new student, need to change a pickup or dropoff location to one not listed in PowerSchool, or your student will no longer be using school transportation).
Bus numbers and pickup and dropoff times will be added to PowerSchool and go live in Edulog on August 17th, 2026.
To help ensure a smooth start to the school year and allow the transportation department to adjust to new routes and schedules, the following early dismissal times will be used:

No activity bus transportation will be provided during the first week of school.
Please remember to follow these guidelines:
- Students need to report to the bus stop at least five minutes prior to pickup times (earlier is recommended at the beginning of the school year when routes are being established).
- In subdivisions, instead of stopping at each house, a centralized bus stop will be created. Students may be required to walk up to three-tenths of a mile.
- Students in first grade and below are required to have an authorized person present at the bus stop. If an authorized person is not present, the student will be returned to their school.
After August 17th, parents and guardians can track their student's bus through the Edulog Parent Portal App. Directions for signing up are available on our NKCPS Transportation webpage in the Edulog Parent Portal section:
