Designed by Moseley Architects, Quinton Elementary School exemplifies a forward-thinking approach to educational spaces. The school’s vibrant academic wings provide extended collaborative learning areas, thoughtfully designed to enhance the educational experience. By carefully considering materials, colors, and design, the facility addresses current enrollment needs while accommodating future growth, benefiting both the school and the broader New Kent community.

About the VSBA Exhibition of School Architecture

The VSBA Exhibition of School Architecture honors excellence in the design of educational facilities across Virginia. Entries are evaluated on innovation, sustainability, and the ability to foster learning and community connections. The 2024 competition included 14 entries from eight architectural firms, with awards recognizing new construction, renovations, and adaptive reuse of existing spaces. The Gold Design Award underscores Quinton Elementary School’s exceptional achievement in combining functionality and creativity.
