Thanks for visiting my web page.  I am from Gloucester, Virginia, and still live in the northern end of Gloucester.  I am married, my husband is David, and I have one daughter, Kendall, who is a senior at New Kent High School.  I am a  big horse enthusiast.   I currently have three horses; a quarter horse and two paint horses.   I spend most of my free time horseback riding and training horses.  My other pets include a Chihuahua, black lab, and German Shepard.  Along with my dogs and horses, I also have chickens.

I have a degree in Sociology and Elementary Education.  I have taught kindergarten for 22 years. Twelve of those years, I have been the head teacher of kindergarten.  I believe Kindergarten is the best grade to see the most growth in children.  It is also the most important grade.  The first experience in school sets the stage for the rest of their school career.  I strive to make the year with me the best and happiest experience.
