ACE Nomination

The nomination or referral of students for the ACE program is a continuous process and may be made at any time throughout the year by school personnel, parents or guardians, community members, peer referral or self-referral of those students believed to be gifted. Referrals are strongly encouraged from the aforementioned group. Students from all cultural and socioeconomic groups are considered in the process of gifted identification. A student may not be reviewed more than once annually.  Additional information can be found on pages 3-4 of the Gifted Plan.

Referral forms are available at the main office of each school, directly from the gifted resource teachers or you may click Referral form to download a copy. Once completed these forms are returned to the Gifted Coordinator.

The division makes information regarding the gifted program available to parents of all K-12 students through our web site, and it is also published in the parent handbook of each school.
